This page will help you set up local dialup access on
Windows 95 with IE 4.0

There are six steps to installing your access.

  1. Install a Dialup Connector
  2. Modify your Dialup Connector
  3. Personalize your Dialup Connector
  4. Create a Shortcut to your Dialup Connector
  5. Setup Internet Explorer 4.0 to Dial on Startup
  6. Setup your default page in Internet Explorer 4.0.

The first step is to install your Dialup Networking.

On your Windows Desktop Double Click the My Computer Icon.

The My Computer Window will open. Double Click Dialup Networking.

Double Click on Make New Connection

Type the Name of the connection such as USIPPNET
and make sure your modem is selected.

Enter your local access telephone number to USIPP.NET
and then Click the Next Button.

Then Click on the Finish Button.
